For Kyabje Gosok Rinpoche's Birthday Celebration, monasteries hold Lama Chopa Offerings

August 6, 2016, or in Tibetan calendar the 4th day of the sixth month of Fire Monkey Year, is the day of turning of the first Dharma wheel by Shakyamuni Buddha to his first five disciples, and is also the birthday of Kyabje Gosok Rinpoche. Monasteries related are holding Lama Chopa Offering rituals to celebrate the special day as well as praying for longevity of Rinpoche.
