In the Geluk-pa tradition, the Ganden Tripa, Jangtse Choeje and Sharpa Choeje represent the three thrones of the Father and Sons (Je Tsongkha-pa, Gyaltsap Je and Kedrup Je). Jangtse Choejie, meaning the Dharma Master of the Northern Peak, represents the successor to Gyaltsap Je. (The Ganden Tripa is appointed every 7 years on an alternating basis from Sharpa Choeje and Jangtse Choeje) Recently, His Holiness the Dalai Lama appointed Kyabje Gosok Rinpoche, our Guru of kindness, as the new Jangtse Choeje. At this special moment, we disciples are all in great joy and heartfeltly pray that our kind Guru to be healthy, his Dharma works be accomplished without obstacles, and his enlightened activities spread over ten directions.

His Holiness The Dalai Lama has appointed Kyabje Gosok Rinpoche, the current Abbot of Gyume Tantric College, to be the Dharma Lord of Jangtse Choje and issued an official certificate for this appointment, on August 8th, 2017
